Upon request, tablature for Close To Me
An Electro/Techno beat I’ve been working on recently. Thought I would upload it to gather feedback before continuing. Learnt some new tricks creating it, so it’s kind of like a mash-up of FX and “over-production”, but hopefully it sounds fresh. The vocal isn’t me I’m afraid, it’s a Royalty-free sample off Vengeance Total Dance Sounds 2. All Synthesisers and FX were designed, and not sampled. If anyone has a sample of a cassette player’s button being pushed in - please contact me.
Here’s a cover of ‘Fields of Gold’ by Sting. Huge fan of the song, so I took an arrangement in Open G tuning to my good friend Tim Kay. A few beers, a bottle of wine and we eventually came out with this.
